As Aviation and Space Sciences Education Institutions, we are organizing a winter school for high school students. This winter school will take place between January 26-31, 2025 and will introduce the piloting profession.

Students who attend the winter school will learn the history and definition of aviation, the advantages and disadvantages of the piloting profession, and how the aircraft cockpit works. They will also have a one-hour flight experience with a Tecnam aircraft and a BELL UH-1H Helicopter.

The purpose of the winter school is to introduce students to the aviation sector and provide them with an opportunity for pilot training.

The benefits of the winter school are as follows:

• Students learn about the piloting profession at an early age. In this way, those who want to choose this profession in the future make an informed decision.

• Students learn the basic concepts and terms related to aviation. In this way, they adapt more easily when they start aviation training.

The advantages of winter school are as follows:

Students receive a certificate of participation at the end of the winter school. This certificate shows that they have participated in aviation training and successfully completed it.

Students meet and socialize with other students who are interested in aviation during the winter school. These friendships contribute to their aviation network.
